Personnel Services Office II T

The Personnel Services Office is responsible for advising staff on the legalities which can arise in acute care situations, especially in relation to the following questions:


  • Can I request special leave of absence in an event of acute care?
  • Do I qualify for a time allowance for family care commitments and, if so, for how long?
  • Can I work flexitime in order to fit around my care commitments?
  • Is it possible to work part-time in the period of transition from acute care to long-term care?

Personnel Representation Council for Employees

The Personnel Representation Council for Employees can give you information on labor legislation issues (statutory issues, collective bargaining law) which may arise in an acute care situation, such as the following:


  • Family care time allowance
  • Agreement on telework
  • Agreement on transition to flexible working hours
  • Part-time models
  • Special leave of absence, etc.

In-house advisory service provided by care support centers

There will be an in-house advisory service provided by the care support centers for the first time this year. The Charlottenburg care support center will be bringing its services to the TU Berlin with a view to contacting all those who need help with caring for a family member. Advance notice is required.

Welfare advisory service

The welfare advisory service offers one-on-one advice on personal problems, family issues and workplace-related problems, and support in crises.
